What is Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)?
Excessive or continuous exposure to high levels of vibration not only causes fatigue and therefore lower efficiency, but it can also lead to Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS). Most commonly known as Vibration White Finger.
Symptoms of HAVS might include:
1. Numbness and tingling sensations in fingers.
2. Reduced dexterity and pain in fingers and joints.
3. Blanching (whitening) of one or more fingers.
4. All of the above symptoms are made worse in cold and damp conditions.
